Airfreight chargeable weight = the larger between gross weight and volume weight
Volume weight = Volume/0.006 = Height*Width*length/6000
For example, for cargo of 200kgs/1cbm,
Gross weight = 200kgs
Volume weight = 1/0.006 = 166.67kgs
In this case, gross weight is larger than volume weight and the chargeable weight equal to gross weight 200kgs
Again for example, for cargo of 100kgs/1cbm
Gross weight = 100kgs
Volume weight = 1/0.006 = 166.67kgs
In this case, volume weight is larger than gross weight and the chargeable weight equal to volume weight 166.67kgs
For Couriers(DHL, FedEX, TNT, etc), Volume weight= Volume/0.005, the calculate way is the same.
